Website & Branding Feature: CarMELLA Design Studio
I recently had the pleasure of working with Carly at CarMELLA Design Studio on her brand and website. Specializing in organization and styling services for homes and businesses in Coastal Virginia, CarMELLA Design Studio is all about bringing peace and order to spaces, making life simpler and more enjoyable. Carly believes that decluttering a space goes hand-in-hand with decluttering the mind—an ethos that really shines through in her work.
Here’s a peek into the process.
Step 1: Branding & Mood Board
Carly came to me with a logo she loved, so we dove right into building the rest of her branding. She envisioned a minimal, timeless look for the website—one that would reflect the sense of tranquility her services bring to clients’ lives. I crafted a refined color palette and paired it with elegant, classic fonts that complement her logo and enhance the studio’s message of calm and focus.
Step 2: Crafting Copy & Visuals
The words we chose and the visuals we incorporated were crucial for CarMELLA Design Studio’s brand. Stephanie from Stelly Marketing provided beautifully tailored copy, while Zoë Grant’s photos captured the essence of Carly’s work. Together, these elements helped create a layout and design that reflect the ease and peace her clients experience.
Step 3: Building The Website
The final website embodies Carly’s mission to create harmonious, clutter-free spaces that reduce stress and bring long-lasting peace. With every page, I aimed to capture the calm, ordered aesthetic that her clients value, making it easy for visitors to explore her services and envision their own spaces transformed.
Step 4: Launch
With the design polished, mobile-optimized, and SEO-ready, we launched CarMELLA Design Studio’s website! Now, Carly’s digital presence fully aligns with her vision to help clients reclaim their spaces and minds.
